keira’s story – keep walking.

i took a short film paper in my last semester at uni + created the video below about my friend keira. she has marfan syndrome + her journey over the last few years has been filled with surgeries + unexpected diagnoses but more than anything, an unrelenting hope for things to get better, defying medical prediction. she is inspiring. i recorded her in hospital just after her most recent surgery. hopefully this’ll be the end of the surgery phase of her life for a while, so this acts as a good record of all that’s been the last few years. see the video here: http://vimeo.com/77375690 (or click on the vimeo picture below to be taken straight there)
